THE FIRST TEASER FOR THE NEW SPARTACUS SERIES, TITLED “SPARTACUS: HOUSE OF ASHUR,” HAS BEEN UNVEILED
Starz Network has released the first teaser for the series “Spartacus: House of Ashur.” This series is a sequel to the 2010 Spartacus series
Starz Network has not yet announced a specific release date for “Spartacus: House of Ashur.” The network began the series project in November 2023 and officially announced the news in February 2024
The official synopsis of the series states: What if Ashur (played by Nick Tarabay) did not die at the end of “Spartacus: Vengeance” and on Mount Vesuvius? And what if the gladiator school run by Batiatus was given to him? In exchange for helping the Romans and killing Spartacus and ending the slave rebellion
In addition to Nick Tarabay, other actors such as Grahame McTavish as Coris (Ashur’s doctor), Tenika Davis as Akilia (a brave female gladiator), Daniel Bas as Balbus, Simon Arblaster as Proculus, Maiky Thompson as Musicus, Steven Madsen as Crixus, Ayden Hart as Alata, and Jamaica Vaughan as Hilara will appear in this series
Steven S. DeKnight (creator, writer, and executive producer of the “Spartacus” series) will be the showrunner and executive producer of “Spartacus: House of Ashur.” Rick Jacobson and Aaron Helbing are also the other executive producers of the series. Lionsgate Television studio is the producer of this series
The “Spartacus” series aired on Starz Network in 2010, and its original title was “Spartacus: Blood and Sand.” Then, in 2011, the miniseries “Spartacus: Gods of the Arena” aired, which was a prequel to the series. After that, the second season of the series, titled “Spartacus: Vengeance,” aired in 2011, and the third season, titled “Spartacus: War of the Damned,” aired and concluded in 2013
