This series tells the story of a lieutenant named Saeed who, after being transferred to Yazd, resides in the house of Seyed Jafar, one of the revolutionary merchants of the city. Saeed's acquaintance with Seyed Jafar leads to events that, under the guise of their story, also make reference to some of the revolutionary fighters of that era, including Rashed Yazdi

Film Taxi has a documentary-like structure and its story takes place in a taxi in Tehran, with Jafar Panahi himself driving the taxi. At the beginning of the film, there is a suspicion that the passengers are not aware of the cameras and that the topics discussed are accidental and random, but the course of the film reinforces the opposite of this idea
