Maestro Enayatollah Bakhshi, a veteran and renowned artist of cinema, theater, and television, who created unforgettable roles over decades of continuous activity in the history of Iranian art, passed away at the age of 80
Maestro Enayatollah Bakhshi (born in 1945 in Taleqan) was one of the unique figures of Iranian acting, known for his extraordinary mastery of speech and facial expressions, becoming a symbol of authenticity in acting. He began his professional career in the late 1950s and performed in the exquisite works of great directors such as Bahram Beyzai, Ali Hatami, Masoud Kimiai, and Nasser Taghvai.
His artistic career is full of lasting roles; from historical series like “Sarbedaran,” “Imam Ali (AS),” “Heroes Don’t Die,” and “Velayat-e Eshgh” to brilliant films such as “Tengna,” “Sattar Khan,” “Travelers,” and “The Day of the Incident,” all of which are considered part of the visual identity of Iranian cinema
His voice was the resonance of Iranian theater history, and his presence in every frame gave it immense credibility
